This handmade ceramic mug was crafted in our home studio in Dallas, TX. Each piece is thrown on the pottery wheel, carefully trimmed, and decorated by hand. We use underglaze to add unique, hand-painted details before the mug undergoes an initial bisque firing in the kiln. Afterward, it is glazed and fired once more at a higher temperature, ensuring durability and a beautiful finish. Due to this handmade process, every piece is one of a kind—variations in glaze and minor imperfections are natural and add to its charm.
This is slightly discounted due to a cosmetic flaw (brush strokes are visible on the black portions of the hair and clothes), however it does not affect its functionality at all.
All Maro Ceramics pieces are made with lead-free, food-safe commercial glazes. Unless otherwise noted, they are microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to extend their longevity. As ceramics have a low absorption rate, we advise against leaving liquids in the mug for more than 24 hours.

What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns. However, if an item arrives broken, please send an email with an image as proof within 3 days of receiving the item. This will allow us to review and address the issue on a case-by-case basis, and potentially file a claim with our insurance company. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will do our best to resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner. Please DO NOT send claims through Instagram.
